New Boxster and Cayman models: in the spotlight at Porsche Centre Brisbane
Porsche Centre Brisbane welcomed the much anticipated new Boxster and Cayman models on Saturday 14th March.
With over fifty interested parties attending the dealership launch event, the new Boxster and Cayman models were received with overwhelming enthusiasm from both current and prospective Porsche owners alike.
Two tickets to Porsche’s Chicane Skybox at the 2009 Formula 1 ING Australian Grand Prix were also up for grabs on the day; there was excitement in the air early as customers filled out their entry forms and dutifully dropped them in the special ‘winner’s box’.
Customers were treated to in-depth vehicle presentations and Technical DVD broadcasts providing detailed information on the evolution of the Boxster and Cayman models. Satisfying huge interest among Porsche customers attending on the day were the presentations outlining both the increased standard equipment levels and technical advancements in both vehicles - particularly the introduction of Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) and the optional seven-speed, Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) double clutch transmission.
The ability of the advances in Porsche design, engineering and technology to deliver increased engine power and performance, while simultaneously reducing fuel consumption and emissions, was well received. Porsche enthusiasts in attendance were impressed to discover every vehicle in the new Boxster and Cayman model range has increased capability, more features, is greener, and provides more driving enjoyment than its predecessor.
