Character traits cannot be changed.
But they can be reinforced - New Generation Boxster and Cayman Models.

Porsche. The name itself stirs emotions in many. Timeless emotions that have been experienced by generations since 1948. Emotions that can also be verified with impressive regularity by engineering feats and world firsts.

These emotions are typified by two Porsche Models: The new Boxster and new Cayman – whose evolutionary enhancement is about to be unleashed on 14th March 2009 at the Porsche Centre Brisbane.

With sports performance, light weight construction, agility and pure driving pleasure, the new Boxster models proudly continues the evolution that began with the very first Porsche – the Type 1 356. The technology we use has developed immensely, but our ability to produce a two-seat, mid-engined sports car unlike any other on the road still remains.

The new Cayman models are a declaration of individuality, and a very special kind of style: your own. They’re more sophisticated, more mature – but still without a hint of conventional about them. You can see it, you can feel it. With every rev. With every inch of the road.

First, the good news: Both engines are new and in the middle. They have six cylinders, and, naturally they are boxer configurations available with a 2.9-litre or a 3.4 litre capacity. The new S Models feature direct fuel injection (DFI), for increased output, increased torque, increased fuel economy and decreased C02 emissions.

Now for the great news: Cause and effect - as if one clutch didn’t deliver enough performance already. The Boxster and Cayman Models are now available with the optional Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) Double Clutch transmission. In total, PDK has seven gears at its disposal. Gears 1 to 6 have a sports ratio and top speed is reached in 6th gear. The 7th gear has a long ration to reduce fuel consumption. The Cause: advanced engineering. The Effect: unsurpassed.

Would you rather trust your own mind t than go with the flow? Then the place for you is right here: The new Boxster & Cayman models – Pure Evolution.
