There’s only one place to experience all the excitement of the new-look 2009 FORMULA 1 ™ ING Australian Grand Prix in the greatest comfort: the exclusive Porsche Level 3 ‘Skybox’ hospitality suite at the Turn 1 Chicane.
And next year’s Grand Prix is certainly not one to miss. As well as being the opening round of the 2009 Formula 1 championship, with all the teams debuting new cars and technology, the revised ‘twilight’ format will see the main F1 race start later than normal, at 5.00pm. So with the entire Sunday programme pushed back, getting to the circuit will be more relaxed than in previous years.
An added bonus of the new format is that the main after-event concert, featuring ‘The Who’ in their only Melbourne show, will now start shortly after the finish of the Grand Prix, making it easier to stay and enjoy the concert, which will be free of charge to Sunday patrons.
As well as having the very best, unobstructed view of the start/finish straight and the exciting turns 1 and 2 to enjoy the Formula 1 programme and the supporting races, the Porsche Skybox will again be an air conditioned sanctuary for Porsche customers and enthusiasts.
Conveniently located close to other major attractions of the Grand Prix, the facility will again feature first class catering, along with fresh espresso coffee and beverages throughout the day.
Tickets can be purchased on a ‘daily’ basis, but as the Skybox was sold out over the 2008 Grand Prix weekend, those interested are advised to book will in advance of the March 26-29 event.
